Excited about your first facial? Here is everything you need to know — from the consultation to caring for your skin at home afterwards.
A first facial can bring up lots of questions: what exactly will happen? Will it hurt? What should I wear? We’ve gathered everything you need to know so you can arrive relaxed.
Before your visit
- Come with skin as clean as possible — minimal make-up, or none if you can.
- Tell us about your routine — the products you use, especially acids or retinoids.
- Let us know about pregnancy, breastfeeding, sensitivities or previous treatments.
- Avoid long sun exposure in the days before your treatment.
During the treatment
Your visit starts with a short conversation and a skin assessment. Then comes the treatment itself, which usually includes cleansing, a gentle exfoliation, extractions where needed, a mask and moisture. The clinic is private and for women only, so you can remove your hijab in complete comfort.
After the treatment
- Your skin may look slightly pink for a few hours — that is normal.
- Skip make-up for the rest of the day if you can.
- Keep up moisture and sun protection in the days that follow.
- Don’t rush to add active products — wait for our recommendation.
How often should you come?
That depends on your skin and your goals. In your consultation we will suggest a rhythm that really suits you — no pressure, no commitment.
